Pablo’s Creations

Pablo first began to learn the art of jewelry making from his Uncle Frank Valdez, in the summer of ‘89. While working with his Uncle, Pablo began to collect the basic tools needed and made many of his stamping tools.(he still uses these stamps today) About a year or two later, Pablo began to create his own line of jewelry and began marketing his creations to the local galleries and gift shops in his home town of Taos, New Mexico and the surrounding communities. After a time Pablo was asked to participate in some of the local art shows, such as The Taos Summer Arts Festival, Taos Invites Taos, and the Fall Arts Festival to name just a few. During this time Pablo was also invited to become a member of the Hispanic Arts Council and became a very active member of the Council, participating in a variety of Art shows and exhibitions. Soon after, he was offered a position with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation as a jewelry instructor, teaching individuals in recovery to make and sell jewelry, and reenter the work force. Most of his students are making jewelry to this day. After a time, Pablo resigned his position with the D.V.R. Program but continued to teach individuals the art of jewelry creation on a private level and continues to teach privately today. Pablo currently resides in the city of Colorado Springs, Colorado where he has set up shop and continues to produce quality jewelry available for purchase on both wholesale and retail markets.
